| Beef | 1/2kg |
| Big onion | 3no |
| Tomato | 2no |
| Garlic | 5cloves |
| Ginger | a small piece |
| Small coconut pieces | 15no |
| Red chilli powder | 2 tablespoon |
| Coriander powder | 3 tablespoon |
| Turmeric powder | 1/2 teaspoon |
| Garam masala | 1 teaspoon |
| Curry leaves | 2 stakes |
| Salt | to taste |
| Coconut oil | 2 tablespoon |
Method
Cut beef into small pieces and wash it well.
Chop onions and tomato into small pieces.
Cook the beef with 1 tablespoon chilli powder, 1 tablespoon coriander powder, turmeric powder and salt.
Heat oil in a heavy bottomed pan. Add ginger, garlic and half of the chopped onion. Stir it well until it becomes golden colour.
Now lower the flame and add 1 tablespoon coriander powder, rest of the turmeric powder and stir it well.
Add tomato and continue to cook in low flame. when it is cooked well, add the cooked beef into it (drain the excess water).
Add the coconut pieces and cook with lid for five minutes.
Add rest of the coriander powder, onion, garam masala and cook for another 5minutes
Add curry leaves and remove from fire.
