Ingredients
| White rice | 1cup |
| Water | 2cup |
| Melted butter or ghee | 2table spoon |
| Salt | To taste |
Method
Wash the rice thoroughly and leave it to drain
Boil the water in a thick bottomed pan. When water boils add the washed rice, salt to taste and cover the pan. Lower the heat and cook the rice.
When the rice is cooked, drain any remaining water. Heat it again for few seconds to make the rice dry.
Add the butter or ghee and mix it. Butter rice is ready to serve.
