I think your conjecture is thoroughly wrong. The singer Yesudas is relegated from Guruvayoor and not from Sabarimala, saying he is a Christian. So the above statement still holds good. There are many foreigners coming to Sabarimala and to the Pandalam temple every year. Those with apparent 'foreign looks' aren't even asked whether they are hindus or not.
