Ashok R Chandran, public affairs specialist, has been member of consultancy teams to international development agencies on policy analysis, socio-economic impact assessment and programme evaluation. He now writes for English newspapers.

Ashok's commentaries on Kerala politics, economy and society have appeared in The Hindu and The New Indian Express. He has also contributed to The Indian Express (New Delhi) and The Pioneer (New Delhi).

Ashok is a post-graduate in Development Studies from London School of Economics (LSE), and in Politics with specialisation in International Relations, from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi.

His leisure interests include editing, publishing and design.
