Dear Editor,
This is the first time I am reading this magazine. Very interesting! I would like to know the meaning of Tharjani. As an NRK I have no ready access to any malayalam dictionary-sabdatharavali. Please, let me know.

well, on Mac you have to change the fonts each time you click on a malayalam webpage. For eg for Mathrubhumi you have to change the font to Matweb. Mac OS is not going to automatically select it for you, which is what is done in windows through dynamic fonts.
And more importantly using Safari browser with above technique will enable you to view most of the malayalam pages, but if you are so insistent on malayalam then plz download the "icab" browser from this website www.icab.de and it will help you to enable even the manorama and other tricky dynamic fonts which are used on some malayalam pages.

And only icab browser will give you access to all malayalam websites and will read the complex script dynamic fonts that malayalam uses. For eg Malayala Manorama doesn't work with any other browser except icab.
Where Mathrubhumi, Deepika, Kaumudi etc will work in Safari as well provided you change the fonts for each site.

I am unable to instal Malayalam fonts on my Mac computer. Is there any way to do this?
Thanks

It is really interesting to see this blog site.I am using a windows mobile 2003 based PDA.
I am able to read all malayalam newspapers if I paste corresponding fonts in the /windows/fonts folder.
But I cannot read any malayalam texts from the blogs which contain all the required infromation,
I tried so many fonts including Rachana. But not working
Any solution would be helpful.
Thanks in advance
